Mac · Deep Cleanup Guide

Follow these steps in order to safely free up disk space.

1. Apple menu → About This Mac → Storage → Manage, follow the recommendations.
2. In Finder, go to ~/Library/Caches and delete the contents of app cache folders.
3. Clear unneeded installers (.dmg) and archives from your Downloads folder.
4. Photos → Recently Deleted → Delete All, then empty the Trash.
